We have been waiting for December 1st for a very long time! A few months ago, when Target and Neiman Marcus announced their big collaboration, we could not wait for the new catalog to come out.
These are the Top 5 picks from their line, a special edition for the Fabu Life. It was hard to curate such an amazing collection, with exclusive designs from some of our favorite designers, like Carolina Herrera, Robert Rodríguez, Jason Wu, and Oscar de la Renta, among others.
Come to think of it, I think the Robert Rodríguez dress deserves a mention. He is ultimately one of my favorite designers and I think the dress is absolutely goregeous...

It retails for $99.99 and is perfect for any occasion, year round! I love the black lace trend, we've done several features on this look and it really is divine.
As for our other picks, we can't help ourselves, when it comes to Alice & Olivia, Stacey Bendet manages to out-do herself over and over again! The bike is a girl's dream come true! The carry-on suitcase with her trademark black and white stripes? Come on! We are loving every bit of that suitcase, perfect for the upcoming trips to Fashion Week, Girls Weekends in NYC, San Fran and Miami of course!
The Rag & Bone shot glasses are sure to be a classic. All we need is the Patrón!
Tory Burch designed a lunchbox and a matching thermos, which we found the thermos to be the best out of the two. All it needs is some award winning Panamanian coffee, we prefer Jansen Estate or Geisha all the way!
Last but certainly not least, next year Moda es Arte will be participating in Panama Hace Yoga (a huge yoga in the park event, that will take place in Panama City). We've seen the one they did in Time Square and thought something like that needs to happen in Panama, so we teamed up with the girls from 3 Yoga, Halima Cuadra (our favorite health coach ever) and Itzel Díaz from muylila.com, who designs our fabu eye and neck pillows, and are bringing this event to life. Being a fashionista at heart, it only makes sense to get this yoga mat!

En esta ocasión quisimos hacer una edición especial de "The Fabu Life" con algunos elementos exclusivos. Estuvimos a la espera de la tan anticipada colección de Target junto a Neiman Marcus. Fue interesante ver como diseñadores de la talla de Carolina Herrera, Tory Burch, Rag & Bone, Diane von Furstenberg, Robert Rodríguez, entre muchos otros más, se destacaron con diseños inigualables.
Curar esta colección no fue tarea fácil! Habían cosas divinas! Espero que te guste nuestra selección.
Empezando por una de las favoritas de la casa, no es ningún secreto que nos persignamos en la presencia de Alice & Olivia. Stacey Bendet hizo el mejor trabajo de todos, con esa bicicleta! Nos encantó también la maleta con sus tradicionales rayas blanco y negro! Tengo que decir que está divi-divi.
Una de las más esperadas era Tory Burch, quien sorprendió con su lonchera y termo a juego. Honestamente, preferí el termo a la lonchera. Me pareció mucho más útil, especialmente llena de cafecito panameño, ganador de premio por supuesto! (Preferimos el Geisha o el Jansen Estate) Vale la pena tener una casita en Boquete! Aprendes un par de cosas sobre café en las alturas!
Los shot glasses de Rag & Bone son una belleza. Me gusta que tienen un look masculino, tipo Mad Men, años cincuenta. Me encanta ese acabado metálico. Solo me falta la botella de Patrón para celebrarlos!
Decidí darle una mención honorífica al vestidito negro de encaje de Robert Rodríguez, sencillamente porque es uno de mis diseñadores favoritos y porque es un traje que puedes usar el año entero para cualquier ocasión especial. Ya hemos hecho features especiales con ese look y estoy segura de que no pasará de moda en cualquier momento. A $99.99 es una ganga, considerando que este es un diseñador de primera.
Finalmente, quiero contarles que el año que viene estaremos participando en un evento súper cool, llamado "Panamá Hace Yoga". Siempre soñamos con ver algo tipo Yoga in Times Square aquí en Panamá, así que junto a las chicas de 3 Yoga, nuestra health coach favorita, Halima Cuadra y la diseñadora Itzel Díaz, quien también es instructora de Pilates, (han visto su trabajo aquí, con sus almohaditas de relajación) y propietaria de muylila.com, decidimos organizar este evento. Siendo tan amantes de la moda, lo lógico es tener este mat de yoga, diseñado por Diane von Furstenberg.
